Presentation of SEMVA project
The ‘Sport and Education: Same Values’ (SEMVA) project is an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at exchanging good practice in the field of school education. Spearheaded by SPUC Roller, in partnership with a Romanian school in Sutesti and our association, the project will run for 18 months (2024-2025).
Its ambition is to create educational escape games that raise the awareness of children aged 7 to 10 in three major areas:
-Active citizenship, Republican and European values;
-Olympic and Paralympic values and sport;
-Sustainable development and responsible eco-actions.
Complementary educational and sporting activities
The programme will be enriched by educational and sports workshops to ensure that the topics covered are properly learned. In class, pupils will take part in a variety of exercises: games, videos, quizzes, debates, outings and meetings.
In terms of sport, the children will develop their motor skills through board sports, in particular roller skating and ice skating, thanks to the national ‘Rouler-Glisser’ programme supported by the Ministry of Sport and the Ministry of Education. These challenges will combine spirit and action, mobilising both brains and calves !
Towards a lasting educational tool
At the end of the project, an educational guide will be published. Designed for teachers, activity leaders and parents, this guide will promote escape games as fun and relevant educational tools for tackling various themes, in particular those developed in SEMVA. This project aims to leave a solid educational legacy and promote shared values through the alliance of sport and education.
